10/31

“The Original” was created by retooling the limited 10/31 produced by Jimmy Falco and Nikos Dresios of NAG Masks. Named according to its limited copies, the 10/31 was created in 2019 by Jimmy Falco: Retooled features include the eyes, nose, and more. -- THE FOLLOWING IS THE DESCRIPTION OF THE 10/31 MASK WHICH HAS BEEN LINKED BELOW -- This particular mold has an interesting background, one complete with some minuet controversy. The 10/31 originates from a 1980 Don Post Studios Captain Kirk mask which was never released to the public.

This mask, though still debated, is said to be casted from the original 75 kirk mold – the mask that started it all! Originally obtained by an employee of the company, the mask was transferred from any number of collections before making its way to an individual by the name of Christian Kerr (who stole it from its previous owner). Following this, Kerr would later sell the mask to Jimmy Falco of Spookhouse Props – failing to disclose the theft.

As such, Falco would connect with the actual owner of the mask, making it right in order to move forward in an honorable way. Thereafter, the mask was used to create a 10/31 replica, produced alongside Nikos Dresios or NAG Masks. From the clay pour, sculpting 75k eyes and ears began and ended shortly after. After months of secrecy, the 10/31 project would begin taking orders with a limited amount of only 30 going to public collectors. One of the 31 copies would remain with Jimmy Falco.
